Gas planets are planets shrouded in mystery and obscurity, mainly due to the impossibility of their full exploration. Polus Corporation researchers managed to study less than 15% of the composition of these planets. However, despite their mystery, gas planets almost immediately established themselves as the best places in the cluster for the extraction of hydrazine.

Gas planets certainly cannot be called the most stable planets in the cluster. The first attempts to build spaceports on planets of this type ended in failure. These planets do not tolerate inaccuracies, a small error in calculating the density of the atmosphere served as a catalyst for a catastrophe that occurred on one of the gas planets. A multi-kilometer platform intended for the construction of the first spaceport floating in the atmosphere on it suddenly collapsed down into an endless gas abyss. After the incident, Polus Corporation engineers developed lighter and more practical platforms for construction on gas planets.

Size

The exact size of the core of gas planets has not yet been determined. However, the sizes of dense gas clusters forming the surface of the planets visible to us range from 2100 to 2300 kilometers in diameter.

Resources

Since only endless gas clouds and nebulae could be found on the surface of these planets, and the research equipment was not yet adapted to a deeper dive into their depths, scientists had to explore surface gases.

However, the results of the gas analyzes showed an incredibly high content of nitrogen and radon. After identifying such unusual features, scientists and engineers of the Polus Corporation immediately began to study possible ways of extracting useful resources from surface gas accumulations on an industrial scale.
