The hallmark of the Aethera gas galaxy is its gas nebulae of incredible size. Volatile nitrogen gas, accumulated in the vast galaxy for millions of years, formed its outer gas disk. Thanks to the bright burgundy-purple flickering of gas nebulae, the researchers of the Polus corporation were able to quickly notice this galaxy and immediately send several dozen probes to its initial study.

Locations

Aethera is an extremely picturesque place by itself. Wherever you fly, every parsec of your route shall please you with incredible cosmic landscapes constantly flashing in the windows of your ship.

But even here there are several places that you should know about before you go to explore the galaxy on your own.

CLG 1381 Dark Nebula

The CLG 1381 Dark Nebula is an interstellar accumulation of gas and cosmic dust. It is so dense that it is able to absorb up to 95% of the visible light reflected by other nebulae, planets and stars.

The CLG 1381 was discovered by chance, during one of the expeditions, when researchers were plotting a trade route to other galaxies of the cluster. The expedition was progressing according to plan, until all five research ships lost visual contact with each other.

With only the ability to communicate with each other via radio frequencies, they spent many weeks in pitch darkness, effortlessly trying to find a way out of the darkness that engulfed them…

Many years have passed since that accident, but the CLG 1381, like a magnet, attracts more and more brave researchers willing to explore the secrets that it keeps. However, very few managed to at least get out of its depths. There are many different legends associated with this galaxy in the vast expanses of the cluster, and some researchers even call it the cursed or ‘Bermuda Nebula’.
