The Galactic Spaceport is a special structure that serves as a temporary shelter for galaxy explorers. Polus Corporation has built one spaceport in each of the five galaxies of the cluster. The construction of such unusual space objects took a lot of time and effort. In this regard, the first researchers of the cluster had to face some difficulties. For example, in the galaxy of Phobos, it was forbidden to conduct any trade in valuable resources, before the completion of the construction of the central galactic spaceport. This period is also known as the “Rat Wars”.
It is also worth noting that the legislation of the Polus corporation establishes an unarmed regime on the territory of any spaceports owned by the corporation, which prohibits conducting any kind of military operations on it. All arriving researchers undertake to follow the rules prescribed in the legislation. In case of violation of the laws of the cluster, the culprit is declared on the intergalactic wanted list, followed by exile from the cluster with full confiscation of property.
The center of the galaxy is a priority place for the construction of galactic spaceports, but the central region is not always safe for researchers and their equipment. Therefore, in such galaxies as Aurus and Okinara the spaceport is displaced by several hundred parsecs from the center.
Since all galaxies differ in structure and conditions, the central spaceports are specially adapted for each of them. For example, the spaceport of theAethera galaxy is equipped with special hydrazine generators that ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity at all levels of the station, thereby significantly reducing the cost of its maintenance.
Most notably, these space stations are designed to provide important logistics routes in the cluster. The spaceport, which is located near the center of the galaxy, is essentially the starting point in the logistics trade chain, which also includes the central Megastructure and spaceports of other galaxies in the cluster.
In addition to their transport importance, spaceports play a key role in the formation of the infrastructure of galaxies.
